I agree. When they started it was one host and stayed for a long time. Now ,2 hosts and a vendor all talking over one another. Not needed.

No way do I believe that having two hosts vs. having one is helping with their revenue. Perhaps next they will try having three hosts.

Since hosts are salaried and not paid by the on-air hour ( like the models), it doesn't matter if there are 2, 3, 5 or 7 on set at the same time.

 

The only way to reduce personnel expense is to reduce the number of bodies on the payroll,  which they have done with the huge headcount reduction at HSN.
