why not show a picture of the lining if an item is lined?  An opened up jacket for instance , not on the model. On the presentation having a model open,unbutton,or unhook, and showing it would be helpful also.

David Dingle for Joan RIvers always opens up the (Joan) jackets in his presentations.  I appreciate this from him. 

 

But you're right, this doesn't always happen, and to know this perhaps in the written description prior to a presentation would help for sure.
