I have lots of lock no locks and love them.  I can never remember what color lid goes with which bottom.

I suggest that you put a color line or dot on the base that matches the top color selection so that it makes it easier to see what lid goes with that bottom.

It's not really the color that is the issue, it's the size. Many people order the same color in all of their lock'n'locks, so a colored dot wouldn't help. Besides, lids can be replaced and can often come in a different color, so I think it would be more helpful for there to be a way to distinguish the size of the lid you are looking for.

Lids can be replaced?  You mean purchase new ones?  Right now I'm missing three of the same size lid to a certain bowl set.  I' m sure I put them in some strange out of the way place that will be unearthed for my estate sale.

@depglass, if a lid breaks, you can contact L'n'L for a new one. They need the number on the bottom of the container and they will send you a new lid, no guarantee of color. At least they used to. I don't know if you could actually buy a new lid for a lost one.

They also need proof of purchase/invoice number.

I recently tried to get replacement lids for containers I order a couple of years ago, and couldn't get them as I didn't keep the papers they shipped with.

Not really a suggestion.  With each new purchase I order a different color and try, I say try, to make sure I get the right lids to the right bottoms.  I manage, but I also have a very helpful husband, need I say more. Smiley Wink

Maybe I just haven't been able to find it - but I would love to have a loaf keeper container.  When making a loaf ofbanana bread or even a met loaf.   It would be nice to have a container to set it in that has the Lock N Lock closures and you can slice it on the lid.  Most of the containers that could fit, I find have the handle.  So it will not sit flat.  The bread loaf containers are too big.  And the other ones seem to be for a mini-loaf.

Thank you for letting me make a suggestion.

I also would like a meatloaf keeper.  Just this week I had to use a container with a pour spout.

We need replacement lids for all sizes of bowls. They only last so long. I have a ton of various size bowls without lids. I've been bujying the screw cap containers but not a very big selection. The silicone seals make great rubber bands. At least I can reuse part of the tabless lids.
