I totally agree. I find the home decor shows a lot more interesting than the repetitive fashion programs.

I am taking a guess here...but Linda Dano seems to bring the same items every time she comes to the Q.......most seem dated....perhaps people are not watching or buying....

Linda Dano's website says she is taking a hiatus from QVC. In August, she lost her long time right hand and friend, Vivien. I wonder if that has anything to do with the hiatus?

Hi, Donna.....that could be the reason....I remember how devastated she was when her husband died...she was gone for a very long time....

I miss her a lot. It seems like she hasn't been on in a couple of years. I love her personality and ideas.

I miss the wonderful Linda Dano, too. Hope she will be warmly welcomed to return when she is ready.

Whether it's Dano or not, QVC could most clearly use a shot in the arm in the home decor department.

I wonder if it wasn't QVC that more or less ended this relationship. I seem to remember Dano posting something a while back indicating it seemed QVC was no longer much interested in home decor...

Sadly, it seems as though QVC continues to narrow their brands and the only home decor featured regularly is Valerie's. There really is room for more than one brand...

That would be my guess, I thought Linda's offerings were very old fashioned and dated. Never bought anything she sold. I like to watch her...she's very animated and dramatic but don't care for her taste in decorating.

I liked Linda Dano and she had some good ideas, I did buy some of her products. I agree the Q should have more home shows. I think its sad that Jim Shore is only on in the middle of the night for one hour. He is such a talented man and his stuff usually sales out,he was on this morning and I taped it I spent a lot of money after watching his one hour show. My house is full of Jim shore,I also like Valeries stuff, have a lot of that too. I agree more home shows and garden stuff like wind chimes etc.Tucka.
