Most of the fahions are really expensive.Easy pay is made to sound like you are getting the item for a really good deal, but in reality by the time you get to the third payment the item feels old. Shipping items back are the xatch to where the consumer gets no bargain at all. Qvc needs to either offer more free shipping or get the prices on fashion down by at least 20%. I don't think that all products are equal either. Consumer beware.

I would love it if QVC would do those things, but no, they do not have to. I'm able to make my decision as to what I want to buy, how much I want to spend, if I want to use the easy pay offer (You don't have to) & then if it is something that I want to keep or if I want to return it. Knowing that it is going to cost me to do so.

Welcome to the boards. My opinion is that most people are very smart, informed consumers and know how to shop. I guess that a "consumer beware" reminder doesn't hurt, though.

Shop where you feel they have better offers.

@cara You are preaching to the choir here!
Well, stuff doesn't really feel old by the third EP, does it? I know what you mean though. Sometimes seasons have changed and you aren't still wearing it! But you are still paying.
Your best bets are to (1)only buy what you like a lot in case it sells out, (2)shop "as is" items, (3)shop clearance, (4)shop last clicks and (5)shop eBay. Many times you can find what you want in retail stores, but not always. QVC is not the wisest place to shop but the convenience and selection is terrific.
Welcome me to the forums.

Easy pay is not mandatory, you don't have to use it. Yes, now it usually requires that you opt out of easy pay, which is a small hassle, but it's shopper's choice.

I appreciate Easy Pay: I live on a tight budget.

I don't use a lot of easy pay. It's rare I use it on clothing. I use it on things that are wants, not needs. That way it reminds me of my decision each month until it's paid off.

The very last thing I want QVC to do is to go cheap. Right now they offer great value in what I perceive as moderately priced clothing. I know that means it's expensive for some people, but it's also cheap for others.
I don't buy my clothes from Armani or Chanel because I can't afford them. Should they lower their prices so I can? I don't think so. I just have to go shopping elsewhere. Same with QVC - you can buy less expensively - but I don't find the same quality and/or selection other places.
I just don't understand why QVC would change when lots of what they offer sells in large quantities already. They might gain OP, but then they'd lose me and other shoppers who are already buying. How would that make sense?
EZPay - OP underestimates the intelligence of the buying public - we know it doesn't make an item any cheaper, but millions of buyers use it --and thousands come here asking when there will be EZPay. Must be good for them!

Really? After 3-4 months, you feel your item is "old"? Hmmm....wear an item a few times and (presumably) toss it or greatly devalue it (give it to Goodwill?) because it's a few months old? I wish I had that kind of money but am glad I don't have that mindset.
