e-mails saying your order is delayed

It's fine to notify the customer but the e-mail doesn't contain enough information, such as the specific item or order number to be able to tell what exactly is delayed.

Since there are multiple "advance" orders in play with the Christmas in September deals, I have no idea. Some of my orders show a delivery date of over 6 days ago but with an in process message as well.

Re: e-mails saying your order is delayed

@GinaV24 I got one of those this am but I knew what the product is and when I get it I will have to return it, I bought the Tommy Copper masks and they do not fit the average face like they showed on TV- but in regards to the sorry your item is delivered is not acceptable when other companies are getting their items out and it isn't just Amazon either- I am also tired of QVC using the COVID as their excuses, we all know what the virus is doing to the economy but there are ways around it and QVC obviously is not doing that- they need to just suck it up and get their orders out in a timely manner or just quit the business- the COVID is our way of life probably for a long time so if Amazon and other companies can do it so can QVC

Re: e-mails saying your order is delayed

My Susan Graver navy pants are delayed too. I bought other items to make a couple outfits that already arrived last week.

They were all ordered together.

Thanks ,I wondered what order they were talking about. now I know.......lol  Stupid of them not to state what order is delayed!!!

I  just sent  sent and e-mail to please cancel that order before I read your post.I sure hope they cancel it. I no longer need it!! Who can wait weeks for a mask ??  Anyone waiting for that mask is sure to get Covid.

At least on Amazon if your item gets delayed for any reason,  ,they let you cancel if if you want to!

p.s. just received reply from CS. Cannot cancel order........WHAT????  It has not even begun to ship yet and it cannot be cancelled!!!!   WOW!!!

Certain states where QVC has warehouses are STILL under very strict guidelines, partial shutsdowns and yes, that means Covid is still the reason things don't always ship very fast.

USPS and UPS and other carriers are also STILL under strict guidelines and are struggling to keep up.

It isn't just Q, I have had delays from numerous vendors, including Amazon.

To the OP's point, I agree!  I have received 4 emails of delays this week and NONE give me which item.  I have more than 4 items that are still in processing.

It definitely would be very helpful to state in the email WHICH item they are referring to!

But you know this!  You keep trying to cancel orders when you know it is not QVC's policy to do so once it is in process!

Yes, it would be nice if you could, but imagine the chaos of everyone trying to cancel orders already placed would put on their system.

They just don't let us!
