I just want them to wear the correct size.  They are all pressed to be in a xs.  When tops are pulling around your shoulders it's not your size.

I agree, it's like they think it's shameful if they're not wearing XS or XXS.  I had to chuckle at the post regarding Martha telling SK she needed to size up, but that ain't gonna happen as she will always insist on squeezing into an XS or XXS.

I do realize that they don't have all the sizes for all the models and hosts. If that is the case, then I don't understand why they don't schedule the models who can wear the available sizes for that fashion show. If they haven't learned yet that people don't buy clothes that look horrible on hosts and models, maybe they never will. And, there is no reason for the hosts to constantly change clothes since they are NOT models. Yes, the hosts have gained weight, but what's wrong with showing clothes in the correct size in that case? Is it (as I imagine) all due to the show host's ego? Not everyone can or should wear an xxs. Many customers are lareger sized, as those sizes sell out often, so show the clothes as they will look on the people who are buying them. We KNOW that probably the only true XXS is Amy. Period. So, seeing hosts and models crammed into clothes where they are constantly pulling and adjusting the fit is just unnecessary and annoying. Plus, lying about the sizes they are wearibng is not helpful.

I wish Martha S would dress ALL of the hosts in their correct sizes. I think we would be amazed - in a good way.

I was just watching Amy, Shawn and the Logo Vendor for a few minutes and Shawn was asking them their sizes in the item they all were presenting.  Amy said she had on the XS,  The Logo Vendor said she had on the XS and Shawn said she had on XXS.

@Catastrophe. I heard that also and thought how many hosts state they are XS and we know differently even though the camera adds 15 pounds? I think Issac has also has told Shawn to size up. A few hosts are realistic like Leah, Jane Brown and Pat.

A few years ago, Q said the studios didn't have access to everything in the warehouse just because they weren't close. I have no idea if that's the case. But if true, I assumed people didn't always get the right size to wear.

Then there are hosts who say they wear a certain size and will not wear what fits best.

I don't really care what they wear anymore.

To me it doesn't matter how the hosts/models wear the clothes. What I look for is the garment measurements chart to see where my body measurements fall into the sizes given in that chart. I depend on that chart to give me accurate information. I don't rely on how clothing appears on someone else. Looks can be deceiving.

@SilleeMee

I almost ALWAYS use the chart because I shop mainly online.

However, I have found MANY times either the chart is incorrect OR the item I rec'd doesn't match up to it.

I do like it when the hosts/models wear it.  I know which ones I am similarly shaped like.

I worked as a casting director in tv for years in NYC. It is a myth " the camera adds

15 lbs." It does not. Yes, people may look different in person, but absolutely

does not add 15 lbs.

@ellaphant    It used to be said the camera added 10 pounds. Now it's 15!  I think you're right,   It doesn't.   But what I do notice is when the camera comes up for a closeup shot the person looks bigger - it even happens on close ups of items not just clothing and people

Another thing I've noticed with regards to the models and the size they wear is some models may not look as good in a particular item even when wearing their size has to do with the item itself.   While the Q claims their sizing is consistent  across the board of all vendors that is not accurate.  It is why you have to know your measuremebts and compare them to the garment measurements.  Some of the 5'9 models can wear a regular inseam because their legs are not long
