Your TSVs Are Boring

[ Edited ]

Every day l check out your TSV and Q2 Big Deal online. I don't watch QVC on television nearly as much as l used to, b/c of uninspiring and repetitive offerings, high prices, expensive and slow shipping and returns, and annoying hosts. But that's a subject for a whole different thread...

Your TSVs and Big Deals are no longer "special" or "big" at all, IMO. They're just run-of-the-mill items l can get anywhere, at better prices. You need to get a variety of new and different offerings that we customers can't find everywhere else. I feel that you're losing the attention and interest of your customers.

I remember years ago I used to take the day off for all day silver and gold shows, and fashion days. Most everything was new and special and the prices were good. I loved that the hours went fast because they showed so many different things!  Not anymore. I used to check in every day, but now it's usually boring, so I find I don't for days.

Yet they manage to sell thousands, often tens of thousands, every day.

@handygal2I don’t blame QVC because I’m bored with shopping overall right now.  It’s been months since my credit card showed a purchase from the stores where I used to shop frequently, so I’m not really complaining.

I hope never again to use shopping as entertainment because I think that’s what got me where I am today with too much stuff I just don’t need.   I doubt I’ve watched even 5 minutes of shopping channels since the middle of June, but I also have browsed no local stores nor headed to any malls.

@Marp : Yes, but maybe they would sell MORE and generate more interest if they offered some new, interesting items.

So each day you check out QVC online, but  don't watch because you don't like their prices, their offers are uninspiring and repetitive, expensive/slow shipping/returns, and annoying hosts AND the TSVs leave little to desired to your liking.

So basically it sounds as if you have no interest in watching or purchasing, but you're here to tell QVC what they need to do?  And you have no way of knowing what "all customers" want.  You are speaking for yourself as a "customer."

I remember making sure I tuned in at 9:00pm PST to see the new TSV. If I didn't it would be sold out by morning. The prices were great and the products and/or pack ups were unique and couldn't be purchased elsewhere. I got hooked on their makeup because they carried Smashbox which was my fave at the time. Then I discovered their clothing and housewares. Now it's all Dyson, Josie Maran, Earth Shoes, etc.  Boring!

BTW, the TSV today is that Bio cleaning paste! Boy oh boy, was I excited when I saw that. Not.

@rms1954 : If you've read these forums, you would know that MANY customers and former customers agree with me. I don't presume to know what "all customers" want.

QVC WANTS feedback that might be helpful for them. That is the whole purpose of Suggestion Box. I have been a long-time customer, whose business they are losing. I don't think they want to lose a lot of customers.

I believe my opinions are just as valid as yours, or anybody else's.

@ChouChou : I tried that stuff, and it didn't work-- at least, not for me. Lol.

I got it too back in the day. Big disappointment as it didn't clean at all like in the demos.
