I have a pet peave: Hosts usually say, 'Here's yer yellow, yer red, and yer brown, etc.' It really grates on the ears. It would be much more pleasant to hear something like: 'This is the brown, the yellow, the red, etc.' Or even: This is our brown, the tan, our apple red, etc.' Hosts would sound much more intelligent using words other than 'yer.'
