I have ordered  items while I was away and then had my neighbors pick them up from mailbox or front door!  Of course, these neighbors are good friends and we do that for each

other!

Are you going to be staying at a hotel? Or a friend or relatives house? If your going to be at a relatives house you could ship it there. If you have friends or family that live close to you maybe you could ask them if it is ok to have it shipped to their house.

The day before you leave town you could go to the post office and have your mail put on hold until you return.  When you get back, just go to the post office to pick up your mail and packages and take the hold off of your mail.
