My problems have been with USPS, the last leg, not UPS.

Also, the more packages are bounced around, the more chance of receiving them damaged....especially with that cheap styrofaom that is used sometime.

OMG - I'm soooooooo with you! Since QVC started using the US PS mail innovations, I have received broken, mangled, flattened packages. Many had to be returned, through no fault of my own. I ordered a LOGO jacket, and somehow between all the mailing transfers, it was damaged beyond wearing. It clogs up the mail system, and seems like an abomination. Yes, we know it's cheaper for them to mail. I haven't seen the UPS guy since Christmas.

@Effie54 Yeah, it's ridiculous. My latest bad experience with them is a pkg I was waiting and waiting on from Q never arrived. Well, the pkg LABEL was in my box but NO pkg. It somehow got torn off the pkg and I got the Q label in my box without the pkg! SMH
At least hsn gives you the choice to go with a faster shipping option if you choose. The Q won't do that. I will gladly pay more if it means I'll surely get it. As I said, I don't see how it saves them money in long run if they have to keep issuing refunds for lost & damaged items.

You are definitely right! I remember in the past we could choose our preferred method of shipping. It always came UPS. Now, USPS uses their crummy mail innovations and so many items are battered beyond repair. Short-sighted on QVC's part.

The problem arises when they hand off to the PO. Straight UPS is just fine. Straight PO is getting better. The mixture is still a mess for me with a PO box.

I think you meant USPS innovations, not UPS innovations.
You are so right. I live in Metro Atlanta *suburb just north of Atl), and there's no reason UPS shoulld to or need to hand off to USPS. The USPS, in the past year since the pandemic began, has become worse than unreliable. The have also become liars.
I've ordered 7 items from QVC (so far). i've received 2 of them without any issues. (1 was shipped all the way with UPS-not USPS. The other one was shipped UPS w/ handoff to USPS.
2 of the items were returned to sender from the USPS for unable to locate address. Excuse me?? I live in an apt complex and the mail person comes every day. Funny how they can deliver paper mail, but not packages.
2 of the items were "attempted delivery" yesterday, but they "could not access delivery location". WTF?? What does that even mean? Like I said, i live in an apt complex, and they can easily access the location!! The USPS site said they would reattemtp today (its now past 7:30 PM eastern time-nothing!)
1 of the items has been lost in transit somewhere in the handoff b/t UPS and USPS. Not off to a good start.
QVC LEADERSHIP-POWERS THAT BE-IF YOU'RE LSITENING-PLEASE, PLEASE STOP USING THE USPS IN PLACES YOU DON'T ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. YOU'RE JUST PISSING OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS, WHO WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE (EVEN IF OTHER COMPANIES DON'T HAVE FLEX PAY). FLEX PAY IS ONLY VALUABLE IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY RECEIVE WHAT THEY ORDER! THE SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY RATE FOR USPS HAS DROPPED BY OVER 10 PERCENTAGE POINTS IN THE PAST YEAR!! GET WITH IT, OR YOUR SALES AND BOTTOM LINE WILL SUFFER. I SUSPECT THERE ARE MANY MORE (NOT-SOL-LOYAL) QVC CUSTOMERS OUT THERE THAT FEEL THIS WAY! UNTIL THE USPS GETS THEIR ACT TOGETHER (WHICH MAY NEVER HAPPEN), PLEASE, PLEASE USE UPS AND FEDEX.

No, it's UPS Mail Innovations and it's the worst there is. Don't know what happens but stuff gets messed up and lost before it's handed off to USPS. I have NO issues with USPS or UPS when my stuff is shipped strictly by them. It's the hand-off by UPS MI to post office that is a disaster.
And you are right about p*ssed off customers. I've gotten so disgusted I'm shopping elsewhere online where they don't use this very unreliable shipping carrier.

The option IS there. I had to find it myself. On the check out page, there's this teeny little red arrow drop down menu. It has three choices. The first one is the cheapest one and that's the mail innovations. It goes USPS all the way. It would take weeks to get to me. I choose the SECOND one. Now, it IS more expensive but to me, worth it. It's UPS all the way. I get it two to three days. The third is the most expensive. You'd probably get that next day which I really don't need. Mail innovations gets the lowest priority. The drop down menu is right near the shipping options on the check out page.
