Now most of you know that when hosts interrupt the are doing what the producers are telling them to do.

I just watched the two-hour Beekman show and she did a great job.  No screeching, no dancing, stayed on topic, pleasant voice.

I must've been watching a different host.  Not a single rude thing about her.

Is Sandra Bennett sooo rude. She interrupted Laura Geller and couldn’t even watch

Hosts have producers in their ears telling them what to do and when to do it.

I watched the 2 hour Beekman show, and she was calm and beautiful.  She let Josh and Brent speak without any issues.

Someone recently criticized HSN host, Sarah Anderson on doing same thing to Skip Borghese cutting him off, and I defended her and said maybe someone in her ear told her to wrap it up.  Remember that each presentation is on a timed schedule.

Communicating with a guest who is remote has its particular set of challenges.   It can be awkward for each and every host.

Ever seen and heard a remote with Susan Graver in Utah? Even highly seasoned host Pat has a difficult time wrangling her in and must intercede (i e. interrupt) at times.

@Bella2022

That is a well known fact!  Ever watch The Apprentice?  They were on QVC a lot.

Behind the scenes shots showed exactly how it all worked.

They are told directions in their ear ALL through the presentation....haven't you ever heard them reply to the Producer they didn't quite get what was said?

Push this color, how many sold....etc etc.

You don't have to work at Q to know this.
