why aren't new responses showing up at the top of the feed?

I just don't get the "recent" posts page at all and here's an example of the second taken just now, 6/25 7am PST

They do if you visit the Forums page from the Community Menu, but not from the View All Forum Topics link. It's very strange. They should both push anything with new posts to the top. Maybe it has something to do with Float settings?

I agree and the float option doesn't help. It just pins that one thread to the top.

I started a thread on among friends. Someone else also started a thread with same subject. To not confuse everyone, I'd like to erase the one I started so we just have one. It's the back fence one for February

You seem to know a lot about the way the Forums work.  So if someone selects "FLOAT TTHIS TO THE TOP" does that mean everyone sees it that way???????????????, and perhaps on the old threads we need to select UNFLOAT THIS TOPIC for it go in chronological order and thereby push the new ones to the top ????????????????

@Spurt, Float This Topic to the Top is a personal view, so it does not affect what others see. If will affect your own chronological view, but only as far as the Floated topics go.

I use Float in the Book Club Topic, where there is a monthly What Are You Reading thread. I float the current month's thread to the top and it's always at the very top. In the new month, I un-float the last month's thread and float the new month's. If I don't un-float the old one, they will both show up at the top of the Book Club Topic list.

This original post was from the summer of 2015, when the forums were very new and we weren't sure how anything worked.

@yock, you have resurrected a thread from 2015 and tagged a mod incorrectly, so your issue will not get resolved.

@You need to post in the thread you want to be deleted and tag a mod there. All Mods have the QVC in their names and are formatted in a specific way. Moderator Eva is not Eva, she is Eva-QVC. (I did not include the @ because I did not want to actually tag her, but you will need to use the @name convention to tag her.
