I have to admit HSN is much more pleasurable to watch. No hard sell like QVC.

This is pretty much why I generally shop QVC on-line only!

@ILOVEDOGS I guess I've gotten used to her in 35 years. I think she has the best quality clothing product on QVC, plus she's the hardest worker. I watch with the volume off or very low.

I guess her polyester clothes still gets her excited! That or maybe they give her a hot flash.

Desperation is setting in. Don't miss out!

I agree. I think they probably realize they are on a sinking ship and are trying to generate some excitement. Good luck with that.

I watched today with Jayne host and Susan. Wow! Jayne with her powerful voice determined to get out information. And Susan, equally determined to talk her talk.
Don't know if there's a worse match....

I will say this, "yelling" is a trend or something socially that is evolving specifically with influencers, gamers, etc. Anyone that knows young people who stream YouTubers who do gaming runthroughs, unboxing videos, prank and stunt shows, all seem to yell. They are in the 20-30yo range but some of the teen ones too. It is extremely frustrating and unnerving and, a very recent behavior since the explosion of young influencers. I am not sure if is because they think it makes their schtick seem more important, or they have no idea how loud they really are (but if they watched back during editing they would know), but I am over it.
QVC is trying to force that same energy into many of their hosts and shows. To be fair, Mally has always been her, and that is fine with me. Kim G is cut from the same cloth too and it does not bother me. But, when Rachel B is yelling and Kim is doing her thing, or JT is talking over Courtney and a vendor (not that I have seen those two together lately), or SK is doing her saving a holiday spiel with Chelsea - those two feed off each others energy
The world is crazy and chaotic enough every single day, people want to escape to a little bit of decorum. Many times you will have to mute your Q broadcast to achieve that.
