You don't have to leave any credit card number stored on a retailer or service provider's website.  You can input the number each time you have a transaction and DELETE it after ward.  QVC does offer the option of choosing method of payment for each indivisual transaction unless you opt for speed ordering. In that case they will charge the last card used.
