Most of the time you can read between the lines and see a political message.  Maybe it isn't intentional but it is there.  Unfortunately when you talk religion or politics it leads to bad feelings and possible argument.  While we should respect other's point of view, it isn't possible to do so all the time.  Therefore political and religious posts are best left out because  they are subjects people are passionate about and emotions take over. Just my opinion from experience.

I just thought of this right this minute:

Wasn't there a documented era way back in world history that featured much/extraordinary debating, philosophizing, etc.?

Maybe around the Roman times?

I'd love to find out. 

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
