Why are photos unavailable for new items?  Why are so many online items that are sold out remain online?  Please update  so folks can actually shop your website!

Re: What is going on online?

@Gabidog   IDK. All I can guess is is the IT people quit. The online shopping used to be wonderful, now so many without photos. Or a simple photo of a front shot.  Why woukd anyone spend 600 bux for a ring with no photo. That's what I found.

I am also very tired of the sold-out items not being appropriately addressed on the site. During the past month or two when so many free shipping events have been offered, I've done a lot of specialized searches, and it's not an exaggeration to say that between 1/3 and 1/2 of the items displayed in the search results were items that were sold out—some that I knew for sure had been unavailable for quite a long time, which is why I foolishly kept clicking links in the results in case one may have actually had an item or two suddenly return to inventory. This is not a situation where a color or size or flavor of something was no longer available; all varieties of the item were sold out. And when this happens over and over again spanning multiple weeks, it's even more frustrating.

This is NOT a good customer experience, to say the least.

ETA: I actually like it when the pages for sold-out items aren't deleted because there have been plenty of times when I wanted to go back and check details when I received an order. But those pages should not be part of standard searches if their items are gone and not returning, and this is a new problem as of the past few months.

Re: What is going on online?

Q has had financial losses every quarter for at least 5-6 years. This devastates a company and limits what they can do.

Q's systems are outdated compared to retail competition. It would take years and tons of money for them to reach this decade.

IT priorities are based on cost/benefit. Q may consider pictures a lower priority than getting products online. Who knows with Q.

Q laid off thousands of people earlier this year.

Maybe vendors haven't provided all the pictures yet.

Whatever it is, I'm not surprised. This is Q.
