The most hated sound in America is the alarm clock rudely waking you from a peaceful sleep, and here Leah is on her show using the most annoying one she could find for what reason exactly? Every time it goes off I'm desperately looking for the snooze button on my remote. I don't know why she chose such an obnoxious and annoying sound, when there are infinitely better and more enjoyable options. It doesn't make me want to shop - it makes me want to throw something at the TV!

I highly doubt that Leah herself is responsible for the chosen sound effect.

And speaking for myself,  I don't mind it at all.

While I'd tamper down the "most hated sound in America" comment, I actually agree with your overall sentiment.

If they could get rid of that awful alarm clock, it would be none too soon.

I do not hear "in stereo"...so ALL those goofy sounds drive me nuts.....I always think it's "something in the house" that's going off....

I think Leah just makes the best of the alarm, probably not her idea.

@Bcm924.  I don't find the alarm clock nearly as intrusive as Leah's  incessant cackling, and giggling at nothing.  That's  what needs to be turned off.

Is this the same as the Kim Gravel whistle complained about in another thread earlier?  Are they just to grab your attention to what they think is a great deal?  

I only caught a couple of minutes of the whistle and I was wondering about it when that post popped up.  I haven't seen Leah's alarm.
