Would love to see sandals with a toe sling. I've had surgery on both big toes and this style work best for me.

I think by toe "sling" she means toe "strap". They have a strap that you slide your big toe through but the rest of your toes are open like with thongs. If you google toe strap sandals or sandals with a toe strap you'd probably see lots of them.

I'd call it a toe loop.  I like this style but I have found the toe loop to be too small on occasion when trying different sandals.   As always, best to try footwear on before buying.
