Re: Vendors Talking Over Hosts

With all due respect Susan Graver is in hyper mode talking. Not too mention, dancing...I get almost sick of her demonstrations.

I think in my case she has lost my business with her.. Too much dramatics and rudeness

to the lovely hosts.

I'm being honest here.

I have to agree about the vendors overtalking the host. Esp. one in particular SG. My goodness she she is rudely hyper. plus she always stares at herself in the moniter.

Since Jill doesn't play well with others, she usually does not have a vendor with her, so at least it is only one person talking on her shows.

The hosts prevent dead air but the vendors, from what I've seen, usually provide some helpful information on the product. But I don't watch all that much.

I couldn't agree with you more! I change the channel when certain vendors are on. I can't watch QVC when SG is on. She talks incessantly and she always talks over the host. I really wish they would limit her talking.

Susan Graver is very hyper. She talks too much, she doesn't listen and she always twirls around. She stares at herself in the monitor like a child would. I can't watch her!

Some products do have to be demonstrated and the host may not have had much lead time to practice. Also, electronics probably do need the manufacturer's representative, especially if it's a new model. But I really don't know why they need to show Suzy vacuuming with her Dyson for an hour. She's very nice and pleasant, but most of the hosts could handle that alone.

We really don't need anything more from Dyson. At this point, I could demo the product for Shrieky the OAP. The vacuuming goes on for hours, and so does the yelling over the vacuum.
