Tucking tops is not sloppy and will never be "long gone".  I agree that half tucks can look sloppy, if not done carefully. It's also best for certain body types. I half tuck with my leisure wear all the time, as do many I know, or see in the hood. Btw, I never look sloppy.

Then don't wear yours that way. Others might like it.

I think it depends on the person and the type of top, etc.  When I was thin, I tucked a lot of things in and I thought it was a very neat look. I wore dressy blouses and slacks with a nice belt to work and in my off hours I wore jeans with a casual top and a more casual belt.  As I got older and my midriff was not so trim, I stopped wearing things tucked in. It's a personal choice, I think.

Not my taste but the half tuck looks okay with a tee shirt but with a button down blouse? I don't think it was meant to be. Yet I see it.

I don't half-tuck or do any sort of tuck, not coordinated enough to get it to look right and I honestly need to cover as much of my tummy as possible. I don't see the need on a sales channel to tuck, I want to see how the shirt will lay on my body. I've honestly never seen it worn in my area at all, but I can't say that I'm much of a social butterfly and don't get around much. I've never thought it looked sloppy, but have not thought about it much until this morning I saw a MukLuks PJ set with the half tuck. Guess that's for those who go out in public in their PJs, I don't. It always makes me think that someone was caught in an uncompromising position and threw their clothes on very quicklyl Woman Surprised

I have not tucked in anything for many years.  I used to when I was slim and fit.

The Barefoot Dreams rep, Maria, sure likes the half tuck.  She has a cute figure so why not.  I am happy to see models wear it left out though, as that is how I would wear.

I prefer the untucked style but don't care if others tuck or untuck or half tuck.

I tuck completely in only high-waisted pants, jeans, and skirts.

Regular and lower waisted items 'cut me in half', so I don't tuck them in.

I like the 'longer look'.

Just for myself.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
