@Mr peabody If I were you I too would be writing and explaining your situation.  See if this makes a difference IF you wish to continue shopping here.

I have only had to return one item.  I ordered a Linea top and got a Graver skirt.  I think it is because the only time I buy during an actual presentation is Linea, because it sells out and I have already seen it on his website.  For other fashion I check the new items, wait for them to presented and then review the website for videos and sizing.  I never make impulse buys even at the risk of the item selling out.  I would only buy Philosphy from QVC if it was a good deal on a supersize.  Sephora and Philosphy websites have much better deals, free shipping over $50 and three samples.

Check out Amazon.  Often their prices are the same or cheaper than QVC.  For $99 per year, you get free shipping (and often free returns for clothing) and it will arrive in 2 days.  I've found Amazon to be better than QVC for pricing and shipping.

Amazon will do the same thing.

Clothes is one thing that I won't buy online.

Re: Too many returns

[ Edited ]

I haven't returned in years.  However my no-no vice is to cancel after I think about it.  I am sure there is a Letter for That.  In any case we really cannot see it in person, we cannot try it on, or taste it.  THEY SHOULD NOT BE SO FREE WITH THE WORDS... IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN RETURN IT.  There should be a caution on air and not just a blanket statement.  Frankly, they are part of the problem as well.

I shop in Costco.  They hava a marvelous return policy.  Often there are lines to return.  Costco does very well in our area, it is a trusted merchant.  They mean what they say and stand behind it.  And in their case you can see and touch it before the purchase.

My choice online merchant is Amazon.  Great selection and customer service second to none. They stand FOR THEIR CUSTOMER.  I had one or two crazy incidents where the merchant sent me the wrong item.  Amazon stepped in and my problem was solved instantly.  I too am a Prime Member.  No shipping.... membership approximately $99 a year.

If I order from QVC and don't like the merchandise, I WILL return.  Most of the items I order from QVC are defective or crappy workmanship.  (I very RARELY order from QVC anymore).

If I buy from a brick and mortar store and the item falls apart after one washing, it WILL get returned.

I'm sick and tired of buying cheap junk for hard earned money.

To respond to your post. I am handicapped and in a wheelchair.  This happened when I was injured breaking up a fight in my classroom.  So to go out to shop is very difficult for me.  I did receive a previous letter and stopped purchasing g for awhile and began to shop for christmas, never thinking this would happen, but after paying a tailor $75.00 to fit a suit for me I decided financially it would be better to return the items.  If qvc would reinstate me as a customer I would not buy clothes from them again, but my philosophy and linens.  So as you can see after reading this there was never any malus intended by me, just an unfortunate situation that changed my life.

I am so sorry you were disabled in this work comp injury!!! Your situation is very different and I agree with the poster that said to write corporate and Cc: customer service supervisor. I would not order anymore clothes though. Sizing is inconsistent here

Re: Rely to Poster of Returns.

I watch at times & to be Honest Should Know Better! I think it's because I do shop at some really nice stores & even over the Internet the items are handled to perfection. Free Shipping Free Returns, Customer Satisfaction is Truly Nice & the way it should be....Customer Service is the Prime Objective. So to answer why I have continued, I must admit is very Limited because I don't feel Buyers should Have to Accept what is thrown at them when the Quality is Poor, or items are Inferior & You the Customer Should Accept it Good or Not Good, because it is QVC.

I Honestly will No longer purchase what I am unsure of. I will now only purchase the Name Brands. I think it will save me time, but it has not with most purchases. However there are a Couple Designers that will not ruin their Reputation.

So You are Entitled to be Pleased with your purchases & That is Nice for You, but for someone isn't Happy with the Quality, Yes I do Shop at those Nice Stores that Value That Workmanship & are Happy to Demand It From Their Brand Names even at Excellent Prices now.

Enjoy your purchases on QVC

I too have a difficult time going from store to store, due to physical challenges. I have received a letter from QVC telling me that I am returning too many items and my account will be closed. I only return items that are defective or arrive damaged. A few times, I was surprised that the item was even IN the box, because the box wasn't taped shut!  They send me the wrong item, the item breaks the 1st time you use it...etc. What are you supposed to do?   Are you supposed to KEEP garbage?    The quality has gone down hill so badly, it's unbelievable.  I think I will write a letter. It's actually insulting. I got another letter the other day telling me that I am doing way too many "CHECK" orders and then canceling them.   I have NEVER made an order where I need to mail them a check.    It's getting very out of control.  And yes, I will do as I did before....stop watching QVC.

Being unable to go from store to store due to disabilities is really not an excuse to get the letter though. There are plenty of places to shop online- QVC is not the only choice- so if supposedly you are returning so much stuff to get a letter yet you are saying your returns are due to defective or damaged items, perhaps you use one of the myriad of other online stores to order from instead of continuing to shop at qvc. I would thihk having to drive to a post office to make all those returns can't be easy either for a person who can't get around well.

70% is an outrageous amount of returns for anyone. It is time to shop elsewhere.
