Telling the audience how appreciated they are

Here's a writer's trick: instead of having each host tell us (your audience) how much they love them, why not show us?

Example:

  • Free shipping for more than 24 hours. How about bundling shipping so it's not per item?
  • Percentage off sales: 20% off all Kim Gravel or a percentage off all as-is?
  • Fewer, shorter TSV presentations. Enough two-hour Dyson or Halo presentations. Honestly, the more you show, the more time I have to talk myself out of it.
  • Vary the vendors, we sre really bored. How about picking up some new vendors?
  • Let the newer hosts have more QVC main channel time.
  • Update the website UX. It's really clunky. The app is worse!

What else?

@Squirrels Are Trash   They need you up in the Boardroom

These are excellent ideas...

@Squirrels Are Trash.  You've got some good ideas and some that probably aren't going to fly.

For instance, QVC depends heavily on profits from shipping to keep themselves solvent so they likely aren't going to be more generous than they already are.

Frankly, 20% off an already overpriced blouse is not going to convince me to buy it.

They likely are not going to dump repetitious vendors who are proven money-makers no matter how bored we are.  They could certainly shorten the duration and frequency of the presentations, however.

Very subjective list, mostly appealing to those who watch a lot.  That's exactly why the Dyson, etc presentations are so long.  They want to catch people channel surfing who may be new customers or looking to make a large purchase on ez pay.

Ok, what are some of your suggestions? This was meant to be collaborative.

Agree.  They have an arsenal of steady eddy's for their vendor presentations including coming from entire corporate groups.  If I remember correctly I think Jennifer Kovich and her husband run a company that supplies vendors.

Remember the old days with the home spun company vendors like the crab cake people, Margie and Ron (maybe not a good example as what eventually happened lol) and the 50 in 50 small businesses.

Sure we have the bagel and meatball guys but there were lots more a long time ago.  That was fun.

@Squirrels Are Trash  well I'll dip my toe in the water here,

my suggestion is let's do a revamp on the Beauty offerings

let's get some of the lines that are popular .

For instance: Natasha Denona, Danessa Myricks, Kosas etc..

Another derm skincare offering, Dr. Idriss would be a great addition

I really don't have any because I have no issues with QVC at all.  I watch here and there but check the website daily and make purchases approx once a week.

From being on here so long, I  understand other viewers' opinions and respect them.  I just don't share them.

Love the OP's ideas, especially the one of FEWER and SHORTER Halo and Dyson presentations!
