Please start ordering enough of items to last at least half the day. This is ridiculous and what is the point? Too bad. I wanted Jason Wu’s dress. Everything sold out early in the morning. I don’t understand why the inventory is so done like this. I’m gravitating away from the Q.

That's not the point of their post at all.

@misschristy   I just checked the regular sizes and all but one size in yellow were available.  It was on wait list.

I helped with the buying for a retail store. It is very difficult to predict what the public will chose to buy. Some weeks ago a LOGO dress went through the entire 24 hours without coming close to selling out. It is still being offered on various programs with buying incentives. Knowing how much product to have on hand is akin to needing a crystal ball.

It is as frustrating for the seller as it is for the buyer. Running out of  product costs potential revenue and profits they will never recoup. Overbuying loses already earned profits. It is a difficult tightrope to walk. I am sorry you are disappointed; I am certain the QVC buyers are as well.

I'd prefer a TSV that will ship out immediately and not on advance order.

I notice the petite sizes sell out first.  I suspect this midi dress might be a little long and more people are ordering petites for the shorter length.  I did cave in and bought the petite in blue, they still had my size in 2X, but the smaller sizes are limited or sold out.  I also noticed that Kim Gravel sells out quickly, I picked up her newest french terry top before it aired because I knew it would be gone in minutes once it appears on the show.  I would have liked to have it by the 4th of July, but it isn't going to ship until June 30th, so it won't be in time.

@misschristy   The Petites are indeed very limited.  But these seem to be Regulars still available.

@Carolina925   Wed all prefer to receive our orders immediate but that's just not the the manner in which manufacturing is operating nowadays.  A sign of the times.  Schedules are erratic.

My suggestion is to show this dress on a petite model.  Is that so hard to do?  QVC use to do this a few years ago.  Everyone is 5'8 and up.  I am 5'3 and would like to see it on a model that height.
