Why can't a TSV-- especially SHOES-- have free shipping?? This would get many more prospective purchasers to take a chance on the fit. The $12 try-on-fee is a big risk for shoes, and a no-go for me.

Shipping is not free, it cost the company money. We all pick up the tab for it if you, and many others, ship shoes back and forth. Saying Zappos ships free is true but they have to pay for it also so it is somewhere in the cost of shoes.

QVC has a responsibility to maintain reliable sizing among the different brands so we can buy knowing the size is right. I've had big trouble with the sizes even in the exact same shoe from Clarks so I gave up on QVC shoes.

People say that the so-called free shipping is built into the cost of an item.  But if the shoes are the same price as QVC & Zappos offers free S/h then buying from Zappos is the way to go.

I enjoyed Susan's day of free shipping and took advantage of items I might not have purchased on another day! I think free shipping day is a great idea!

Yes this is true.  But my experience has always been that Zappos shoes are higher than other online sites.  I have never found shoes on Zappos to be a deal.

Designer Shoe Warehouse is the way to go!  Try them on, they are cheaper than on QVC, and no S&H or return charges.
