As a customer who makes many purchases at the Q my preferences for the TSV are as follow: I rather receive advence emails letting me know what products will be a TSV. If is a considerable purchase specially it gives time to decide, plan for funds and be prepare with my selection. I also like going online and seeing under the TSV tab what is coming up in future dates. As for going back TSV announce at 12:00 as a surprise and having the hosts repeat that it will end that day and that price won't be ectended I do not see the advetage for the Q or the customer. Personally I feel I'm being pressure to decide and hurry or it goes away. My personal reaction is to disregard that TSV unless is a necessity.
Ultimetly the goal here is QVC wants to sell the product and I want choices and to be accomodated in every option available, otherwise I'll pass many times.
Maybe I'm wrong but I feel the Q caters primaraly to a mature audience, at least I don't like to be pressure, rushed or told is now or is going away, it stresses me so
I start feeling uncomfortable. The way you won me over originally was friendly profesional hostesses , time to decide do I want it and is easier then going to a store, hope it stays that way.

Since this board is for customers of QVC, we are pretty much the only ones who read it. There's never any indication anyone from management ever looks at it.
You bring up some good points so you might want to send it to the corporate offices to the attention of Mr. David Rawlinson, Qurate Retail Group CEO. You can find the Studio Park address online.

IMO, going back to this 24 hour tsv thing is a step backwards & not the way retail is done anymore or the way the majority of people shop

Well, there are plenty who've complained that the TSVs aren't special anymore and that they're not really TSVs, when you can buy in advance and then the price is held for more than 24 hours.
When I got this email, I just thought okay - they're going back to the way things used to be done. And I hoped that they really meant that the TSVs would be "special" going forward; not just the generic things we've seen in recent years. Also, at a genuinely good price.
It's a case of, you can't please everyone. They're clearly just trying to see what works now. Time will tell how their customer base reacts.

I have no problem with the change. Doesn't really affect me. I put a lot of thought to everything I order but I don't spend days trying to decide. I think we should accept the change and hope QVC will follow up with the promise of unique and better priced items.

I like the idea of going back to an actual Today Special value. I like the idea that all shades, sizes and colors are available at midnight.
I think if someone gets uncomfortable or stressed over a TSV than that might speak of something deeper.

I don't believe HSN has ever offered their TS for more than one day.
Doesn't effect me in the least, I always get a clue by looking up the program guides ahead of time to see what show is on at midnight. Most times I can figure it out, and I get to prepare my day if I'm interested in watching or not. I think it would benefit the Q to follow HSN's way of doing things, JMO.

HSN offers Andrew Lessmans TS at least one day before the actual TS day almost monthly. I know because I often order it.. I don't order much else from HSN so I don't know about other products but I think I've seen other posters say other TS are available to preorder before the day..
I agree it would be good if QVC followed HSN and offered some TSVs the day before.

I don't have a problem with the change. I like finding out ahead of time, but I don't like that people can buy up sizes/colors ahead of time. Levels the playing field so to speak. I never really had a problem with them extending it a day or so if they didn't sell enough. I only knew they did that because it was mentioned here, but it wouldn't affect whether I would buy on the day of the TSV or not. I always considred it a one day only event and if I wanted it I would buy during that 24 hour period. If someone got to take advantage of the TSV price the day afterwards, no skin off my back.
As far as pressure goes, that's exactly what they want to do. They want you to feel pressured. They want you to have Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). I think Shannon Smith on HSN is the queen of high pressure sales. She's over the top and I really can't watch her. Everything is sooooo dramatic.
