I wonder if QVC might start producing and carrying bezels and bands for Apple watch? So many of us have these, nowadays. It would just be a matter of offering the various sizes, and perhaps only the most current ones, if that is most expedient and cost-effective.
I often see a beautiful watch for sale, I even own some lovely ceramic ones but I have grown too attached to my smartwatch and wish I could style-it-up a bit more. Amazon carries lots of different bands and bezels at reasonable prices, but something in Diamonique would be fun, I think.

This is true, but I think it could be fun to see some of Q's designers partner with Apple and see what they come up with. Apple's bands are just ridiculously priced, so I imagine Q would offer something in-between. I would love a diamonique bezel, for example, or even a band. The ones I've seen on Amazon with "bling" have been cheap-looking, and some of the ones I've purchased have been such poor quality, they break immediately.

good points
I think the difficulty would be how Q would brand them,
I keep looking at the blingy ones as well but haven't bought, the silicone and stainless steel ones have been just perfect

I love the silicone ones, and they are much cheaper than Apple's and so comfortable. But much as I love Amazon, I also don't want to lose my QVC, and I'm sure they don't want that, either. If they are genuinely looking for ways to compete, they might want to look at items like this that Amazon seems to corner the market on. Just my opinion though, I'm certainly no economic strategist.

@jackthebear I'm not sure what you mean by how the Q would brand the bezels and bands, but I do think there's a problem --- Apple is a huge company compared to QVC and if they thought there was a big market for blingy accessories for their watches why aren't they offering them themselves?

I would be completely shocked if Apple would partner with QVC. They have a reputation to keep, and it would lower it to partner with QVC IMO. Also, they are a much larger company and could make the blingy bands themselves if they thought they would sell. They must not think so.

True, but Apple does partner with designers, so I would think it not impossible that some of the QVC designers (like Isaac Mizrahi) might strike up a partnership. I think what @jackthebear was suggesting is that, in order for Apple to sanction the accessories, it would need to be marketed as an Apple product or collaboration, whereas Amazon simply markets multiple knock-offs, obviously not Apple endorsed. I think this is what makes them so inexpensive. They certainly seem popular on Amazon though. There is definitely a market for affordable watch accessories.

exactly
QVC can't sell any Apple merch at street prices only by bundling with cheap accessories. so (surmising) to sell Apple watch bands they would have to be the same off MIC bands we can buy on Amz.
a DMQ bezel would be lovely tho

Zulily frequently features them although, due to the way they operate, their merchandise may change daily.
