Could you please add a forum that is for those of us who are retired? I know we have some things that other retired people would enjoy sharing....

Quality20, the topics in Among Friends lean (IMO) to older women. I can't imagine someone decades younger feeling drawn to respond.

I got the feeling almost everyone here was retired, posting in all or various threads.  I know when I post about my job, or reference my job, I usually get the sound of.....crickets.

A separate Retired forum I think would only serve to isolate posters.  I'd suggest staying with subject matter groupings, rather than demographic groupings.  I like to be able to share thoughts/discussions among various topics if I choose, and not feel I shouldn't be in here.

@Caaareful Shopper, not a bad idea, so if there's no forum that they'll add, it sure would help when someone posts, to really say what the post is about.  Not the come ons that we sometimes see here where you have to go in to find out what a post is about.  JMHO.

Came back to add, I worked all my life, so while I may be retired now, I've worked plenty.

When I post something I like to get responses from everyone not just retired folks.  If a younger person doesn't like the topic then they don't have to read the post.

Yeah, I never did either. It is really in my opinion, a kinder forum than some others, like Community Chat, and for things that aren't so divisive or controversial, and most posters are kind when replying.
