I am a daily contributor to the QPS thread. While I am not an original member, I came to the thread mid way and was greeted warmly and have stayed ever since.
I don't understand the need to refresh threads.
Pancake has grandkittens at this point in time and yet that thread still lives on.
And people are Still Buying Fiesta (a place I was also welcomed to warmly midway through).
As long as QVC sells potstickers, we will talk about them.

Me too! I'm there every day too!
Instead of "refreshing" us - why not join us! All are welcome anytime with open arms.
BTW, we don't just talk about potstickers. Like the others have mentioned there are recipes, spices, work, kids, decorating, life, food, TSVs & all kinds of things.
Wonderful, wonderful helpful, supportive group!
Oh, and the QPS thread is not holding anyone back from starting other threads. As far as I know, this forum can accommodate an infinite number of threads so start away!!!

It might be worth mentioning that the regular posters on the Potsticker Soup thread also talk about -- and buy -- a lot of QVC products.
Just saying ......

Since I hurt a lot of contributors feelings, I guess I should have requested that there be a misc forum. If this is not a subject of recipe then start another. Unless you love potsticker soup. LOL
As a contributor early suggested I do I will limbo out of there and here. Thank you and sorry for the hurt feelings. The last of my intentions to anyone.

There are a lot of recipes in there by the Kitchenets and they are lovely ladies... very enjoyable to read or join in.

Wade in there today. A few new recipes were posted today.

I started the Quick PotSticker Soup thread in what seems like a minute ago but in reality is much longer ago than that. The Mods and QVC have been very accomodating in allowing us to continue. The soup is very good and if you can "hang in there" during the first few pages, others have contributed their ideas and twists on the original recipe.
The thread grew into friendships that have been described here by many. We openly welcome any and all who would like to join in- no need to read all the previous postings to visit with us. Just jump on in. If you feel like it, browse thru and you will find many recipes that grew from conversations that we have had and most have made us laugh. To start a new thread with each recipe would not make much sense and to have to explain why it is being posted would probably kill the thread and recipe.
I always find it interesting when folk who object to the thread, as well as certain hosts on QVC or vendors, can't just skip on down the line. Why let something so benign upset your applecart when you have the control to not look?! No one is forced to be on any thread. or watch any vendor or host they do not care for. There are many wonderful threads on the boards and there are some that I have no interest in but I don't suggest they stop or be "refreshed" or whatever as I have the power not to look. But as the original poster of that thread, I am extending an open welcome to you, @Elom, to please come join us. Jump in where ever you want and get to know us-we really are a nice group of women.

@BeccaLou anyone can open a new thread/topic. All you need to do is open the forum that would be applicable and there should be a box that says something about a new topic, click on it and you can choose the title/subject of the thread and your initial thoughts/input.
As for contributor status, that is something that is built into the forums and is based on the amount of posts you have.

BTW, if anyone wants to get in on the ground floor of a potentially long running thread, I would suggest jumping on the Packing Cubes thread on the Travel forum.
