The TSV's shown in In the Kitchen with David that have nothing to do with the kitchen are taking away from the show.  It's pretty obvious that people will buy things because David tells them to so QVC is capitalizing on that.

They could feature the TSV on Q2, but then they wouldn't have David.

       I agree with the OP!  If I am watching David's show - sometimes have it on while reading the paper -  and the TSV comes on, I usually click away to another channel.  Most times, I don't go back to David's show at all!!  The TSV gets many one hour showings during the 24 hour period, plus several mini presentations.  No need to ram it down viewers' throats!!

I think when I stopped watching ITKWD it was when they started forcing lengthy TSV presentations in the middle of his Sunday shows.  That, plus all the food items.  Used to be my favorite Sunday show.  Sometimes, I'll check on line to see if I missed anything, but there's rarely anything new or exciting.  Not the show it used to be.

On the other hand -  lots of us ITKWD watchers perhaps only see the TSV when he presents it. Or I see it for the first time then and tune it to a later presentation if for some reason I want to do more research before buying.

 Further, when/if we pretty much stop buying when the TSV is on his show, they will definitely show more kitchen, but only if people buy as much of that as they now buy the TSV's during his show.

It's been several years since I ordered anything kitchen, but I like to watch the show and I have bought the TSV during one of his shows.  I don't feel like they're ramming anything down my throat because I don't watch all day long.

       Oh no, I do not watch it all day long either. There are just too many other things to see and get done!!! But it does seem that everytime I check into QVC  - which I do often during the day - the TSV is being presented!!

      And then when I checked back today, David had a whole hour of the TSV after his kitchen show. It is just product over kill!!

I feel the ITKWD is soon be a thing of the past...imo.

over the past 6 months I've noticed (and haven't watched too much):

1.  Traditional kitchen items - very scarce.

Although, oldies but goodies such as KA shown,  cooking gadgets & fewer Cooks Essentials replaced by LeCrueset or AllClad ($$$), etc.

2.  Temptations - slowly being phased out - not sure what will replace them.

3. Food: many Q viewers must be buying because 50-60% of the shows are food items. 

4. ITKWD on Wednesday has been shortened to 2 hours vs. 3.

Sunday Show is really 2 hours because 1 hour of the 3 hour slot is the TSV even if its shampoo, mattress, make-up, shoes and has no relevance to kitchen products!!!

I enjoy David & today (since it was pouring all day) I watched & sadly he looked as bored as I was😉! There's only so many times one can get "excited" over the same products shown over & over.
