St. Patrick's Day Celebration

I'm wondering why the celebration has been changed from a 24 hour show. I'm very disappointed. What about the people who work. I didn't get home from work until 4:30, so when the show ended at 7, it didn't give me much time to view many items. I didn't even get to order anything. I wait for this show every year. Was upset last year, but even more so this year. Sure hope I get an explanation this time since I never got a reply last year. Please add to this thread if you are as disappointed about the show change as I am. Bring our 24 hours back!!

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

I was just telling a friend the same thing......QVC absolutely HATES the working person....they always schedule the unique shows (like St. Patrick's Day Celebration) during the day or early early evening (for the Central and other time zones) when us working folks cant watch and order. I guess they think that we don't have to work at our job and can spend all day at work watching QVC.com or an app on a smart phone {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} Tell that to my Boss!!!!

Now that Im home I can go online...but some of the things I was interested in got sold out.....{#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

And then what do we see the same PM Style with the SAME BORING LINEUP---Graver, Spanx, Logo, Calista Tools, Ortha................ZZZZZZZZZZZZ {#emotions_dlg.closedeyes} They can't devote a couple of days within a year's span to show some variety and something unique and different for the working customers!{#emotions_dlg.glare}

I guess QVC doesnt want our business...funny how they think they've reached a younger demographic (which would be working) and yet they program for an older audience ---go figure.....

Today the Irish....tomorrow the same thing with Valerie Parr Hill!!!

P.S. Even the hosts are getting into the act, one day when I happened to be off work Sharon actually told the viewers arent you glad you dont work so you can get all the good deals...{#emotions_dlg.mad}

I too miss the 24 hour St. Patrick shows. I would also like to see more items like they used to have like glassware other that Waterford and more textiles . Also a Celtic Wall cross or Crucifix.

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

By the time I got home from work and turned the tv on, Jane was signing off. So no St. Patrick's Day celebration for me this year. Your loss, QVC! I didn't spend a dime. If this is their new policy for St. Pats, they wont get any orders from me in the future either on this day. Who wants to watch PM STYLE and ISAAC on St. Patrick's Day? I don't even watch them any other time their on! (LOL)........

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

They did their duty to the St. Pat's Day viewers. Programming was scheduled for: Midnight-1am, 2am-6am, 9am-1pm, and 1pm - 4pm. No more, no less. I give them a grade of: B, in scheduling and a C in pricing.

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

If they wanted it less than 24 hrs. why not drop programming during the day, so working people can watch in the primetime hours? Like it would hurt to cancel PM style one day a month. Total idiocy. People on the east coast are in bed by midnight. If they don't have faith in the show, then just cancel it.........I'm not about to buy anything online unless I see it presented. If they don't want to accommodate working people, they can do w/out my sales then.......

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

I absolutely agree! The 24 hour Irish shows are far more interesting, entertaining and likely to entice me to buy than the usual (ho hum) PMS, Orthaheel, Isaac Mizrahi, cute chick shows. I'd rather listen to Steven Walsh quoting Yeats anytime!! Please bring them back!!!

Re: St. Patrick's Day Celebration

I guess the powers that be don't feel the same. I felt sad I couldn't watch this year. I may even have bought something! Oh well, I guess there's still the Rose of Tralee. Watch them cut the prime time shows then too! Smiley Sad Big mistake in my opinion.......I can understand if they want to cut hours, but WHY cut the primetime hours???? That's the only time many of us can watch!

ITA. It's one day a year, they should at least do it for 24 hours with all these people flying in from Ireland!! But we need another 24 hours of beauty, cooking/kitchen, gardening, etc., every time you turn around??!!

ITA...with you BonnieBelle..{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} or host favorites or what a girl wants (everything we don't want).....
