Sold out items

Is it possible to delete items that have been sold out/no longer available while searching? It's frustrating to find out items are not available only AFTER they are in my cart and I click checkout.

Understand your point but sometimes with persistence you can order the item...kept trying to order As Is Sketchers pants & showing not available checking out, then after trying & trying success...not sure why this happens, maybe finally loaded into the system, the cancel time for the buyer hadn't run out so the item shows it's available or ?. Anyway I got the $55.00 pants for $28.00 As Is so it was worth my time....wish that always happened but nope & it's frustrating when the item is up for weeks, months, you want it but no sale.

Even more annoying are the frequent emails I receive touting ;
“Back in Stock”
“The Wait Is Over-Fabulous finds that are back
& calling your name.
Dhop Now”.

Only when I click on the “Shop Now” I immediately get

“SOLD OUT
We're sorry, the item is no longer available”

Really guys. This has happened to me on 3 separate items. And repeatedly on Valerie Parr Hill item H525424.
I suppose it’s possible one new item came in so the email went out, snd someone just beat me to it. NOT!

@Polarbearluvr - You can't add an item to your cart if it's sold out.
