I just had an  item cancelled/credited because they didn't know what has happened to the delivery. Even though I keep getting emails that say " it's is on its way',,,seriously this is too sad and frustrating. I have ordered other items from other sites and delivery is spot on. What is going on with you guys. You spend so much revenue on things that are more fluff than substance. If you offer an item that can not be delivered where is the relevance of your site. SPEND MORE MONEY ON YOUR DELIVERY PROCESS...seriously this is a NO BRAINER!!!!

@DasMEM2.  Any package from anywhere shipped by any method can disappear or be damaged in transit.   That's a risk you take when you order something that must be shipped.

Ive ordered hundreds of items that arrived without a bobble but a pair of jeans from hsn just evaporated before reaching me.  Of course I got a full refund.

Re: Shipping andHandling Issues

I understand your frustration. I have 2 items coming from HSN, one is a indoor plant from Costa Farms a Dieffenbachia plant  and the tracking only says it arrived and departed but it doesn't say where it departed from or arrived to. The plant order also says there was a mechanical failure that has delayed delivery but it doesn't say where along the shipping route. I called HSN and confirmed it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow and if the plant has died they will replace at no charge.

I also have a pair of sandals coming from HSN that also say processed on 6/24 and arrived at facility on 6/26. No information on where it arrived to. I've never had a order that doesn't say where it departed from or arrived to. I like to know where my package is so I know when it's getting close to delivery.  I guess it's something new with the UPS delivery process. Oh well as long as I get it soon right ?

There's nothing at all that QVC can do once a package is in the shipper's possession.   The only company that has its own delivery process is Amazon and even they need to supplement with UPS and the post office at times.  Even if they raised the cost of shipping, it wouldn't change a thing other than to upset more customers.

Re: Shipping andHandling Issues

Packages go missing. In an ideal world that wouldn't happen, but once an item ships it's beyond the immediate control of a retailer.

I think especially if they fall into the labyrinth of the post office.

On the rare occasions that it happens customer service usually offered the option to resend an item or refund your money. Seems like you were credited a refund.

I wouldn't fault the retailer and if I wanted the item I would reorder.

Re: Shipping andHandling Issues

There have been warnings of packages being stolen from doorways.

The Q's have insurance on packages and should refund. I don't think they would continue that on a regular basis and chalk it up to envioronment.
