While I'm definitely not a fan of Shawn's, I think what you posted was spot on and agree with you. Why someone watches a host they can't stand and irritates them is beyond me. And like you, there are a couple I don't and won't watch.

I agree, and she is NO size 2! She squeezes herself in the small size but it's not working for her.

the lady sells and people watch and buy from her and until they stop, she stays and gets top billing. That's business folks.

First, QVC is completely and totally a shopping channel. If you are struggling to feed your family, watching here will not necessarily bring happiness, unless you are trying to be aspirational and get ideas for future purchases. Yes, the entire USA is a first world country, so every issue here is first world. We are also the largest consumer market in the world, so selling and buying is a daily activity.

IMO Shawn does not ooze excess at all. She is a young mother/professional sales woman in an industry where she works with very, very rich and famous celebrities.

I watched her with Elton John, and she was very overwhelmed and humble regarding his wonderful lifestyle.

Shawn (and all other hosts) works long, strange hours, and probably has a lot of stress. Yes, QVC hosts are all hard workers, ambitious, competitive, resilient, and deserve the outcomes of their labors!

Looking forward to a wonderful vacation and dreaming about relaxing in a very nice hotel is not "bragging" in the youthful social media world, it is sharing your lifestyle and creating a storyline/fantasy vision.

Recently when I travel, younger girls ask me all the time to take their photos in front of famous places so they can "post" them to their social media sites. I think it is cute, and sweet, a bit sad, but that is the way younger people are these days. They want to capture their memories while leaving a mark on the world.

By the way, I also really like five star hotels, but I rarely splurge, because I can do more vacations for the same price when I stay in three and four star hotels. Maybe Shawn has much less limited vacation time, so she makes the most of it.

So many people look up to wealth rather than character, ethics, charity, etc. My guess is that's why she posts as she does.

A host's single goal is to make sales because that makes them money. They'll do it any way they can.

I don't understand why anyone follows hosts on social medial. They aren't our friends or acquantances. They are salespeople who happen to be on tv.

Does anyone really think hosts care about them? They don't.

The OP clearly seeks out posts on Shawn's social media by which to be "offended."

They clearly reference "posts", not mere on air comments.

That's really odd and bizarre and weird to go proactively looking for something to be offended by! But everyone gets their kicks in different ways.

I don't see jealousy. I don't see any reason for your snark. The last I knew, we are all able to post an opinion.

I had qvc on yesterday afternoon and Shawn was the host and I usually don't tune in when she is on, but I was interested in Isaac. She must have mentioned at least five times that she was just on vacation. It was extremely noticeable.
I don't care if the hosts mention being on vacation, people take vacations, but she was over the top. JMO
