I have 4 Sak bags and they have been the most used bags I own. I have a kate spade and 2 Dooney bags that I use only for a few days and then back to my Sak bags.

Why doesn't qvc try to get this vendor on here?

NativeJax,

QVC used to carry the SAK many years ago.  I still have a few of the bags I purchased here and they never seem to wear out.  If memory serves me correctly, I think the vendor went to EVINE but wasn't there very long and I think she sold SAK leather bags and not the original style.  After a while, people want something new and different.  I still have beautiful leather wallets and a handbag by Medallion by Wathne, which was QVCs first handbag vendor. They were beautiful bags; great leather and styles; wore like iron; and, were reasonably priced.

I think the crochet SAK bags are no longer considered stylish.

I used to love Sak bags too......that would be a nice addition to QVC's bag line...

My bags I use are leather and not the crocheted ones. Although I do have one of those too but no longer use that. Mine are leather and they are great.

I have a crocheted SAK bag in yellow that I bought about 10 years ago and I still love it.  It still looks almost new and I love the color.

We used to carry the full line of the Sak bags (wasn't it called Le Sak then?) anyway, over the years I had purchased the crochet back pack that I still use for the beacb. Sand falls right out....currently we only have The Sak Leather Kendra Hobo Bag with Side Pocket in linen at a last clicks price.

@Beth-QVC, there is a brand called Le Sportsac you may be thinking of - my favorite casual brand. They are different than The Sak - different material, shapes and sizes. They are more of a somewhat Kiplinger-type, but prettier and more colorful.

I still see Sak bags (not just the crochet) at Costco at various gift-giving times of year. A quick google tells me they're available many places online and in M***'s dept store.
