SPACE SAVING FOLDING FOR KING SHEETS IN THE LINEN CLOSET

I have found that this is a real space saver in the linen closet.  Instead of folding king sheets in the traditional manner (best described as "square foldovers"), I fold the sheets tightly in a "jelly roll" manner.  First I use Jill Bauer's excellent technique for folding the fitted sheet, but when I lay it out flat, instead of folding over to finish, I roll it up about 18" wide, very tight, into a big jelly roll. Same with flat sheet.  Fold it over to about an 18" width, then jelly roll it.  Same with Pillow Cases.

This method takes up a lot less shelf space in the linen closet. The traditional method of folding causes the sheets to be bulky (because you cannot get them folded tight).  But this jelly roll style, they take up a lot less shelf space.  Try it, you might agree!!

I jelly roll my towels and bath sheets.  Not only do I get more on my shelves, but they look great that way (intentional design choice, rather than just functional storage)!

How do you keep them from un-rolling?
