QVC needs to stop selling entire until the horrible shipping backlog is cleared.  I've been waiting two weeks for pants, ordered at the same time as a matching jacket, same order number.  Jacket is here.  Pants are in process to arrive by 9/15.  Uh.....these were ordered nearly two (2) weeks ago and are still sitting somewhere.  Until shipping is caught up and improved, QVC needs to take a two-day no-sell holiday - no TV or online selling.  GIVE US A BREAK!

Ummm...have you been paying attention to the shipping and stocking of merchandise all over the country?

@13SHOPS    Since all retailers are in the same situation, do you propose that all commerce in the US come to a screeching halt?  I think you can see where that would not be feasible.

We all have to just grin and bear it.  It's too hot to wear those new fall clothes yet anyway.

Re: SHIPPING!!!!!

[ Edited ]

@13SHOPS - QVC is not going to stop selling things because there are shipping issues in some areas.  (I've had reasonably good luck with things I've ordered.)

However, you could take a personal break and shop elsewhere online or in a B&M store.  If you need something quickly, that would be your best option.

Just wanted to add:  I just checked my last four orders.  All of them arrived in less than a week.  My current order, placed on 09/14 has already shipped and is expected tomorrow.

Just because YOU did not receive your items in two weeks does not mean the rest of the many millions of shoppers have the same problem, or are as anxious as you are.

Yes, there are major shipping challenges all around the world.  That is what happens duing a pandemic.

I like the convenience of shopping 24 hours, 7 days a week online.  There is nothing on QVC that I need immediately.  QVC does not really sell any basic necessities that we need to survive, as you know.  So all of us are using our spare money to buy little luxuries.  If it never arrives or arrives late, we will still survive. Enjoy the anticipation of waiting!

Welcome @13SHOPS to the forum.

While I agree delayed processing and shipping has become a real drag, your suggestion is not feasible.  QVC can't afford to totally close down for two days.

Just this past week, I have been seeing more retailers running into problems with late receipt of merchandise and shippers unable to keep up with picking up orders for delivery. Ran into another one today...October 6 shipping date.  They are being forced to sell without stock because they have no other choice.

So, have patience or shop in local stores for those things you must have soon.

Since you have been waiting two weeks for your pants, you can email the Social Team at @QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com with your order number and explanation.  They may know why your pants have been delayed.

@13SHOPS   Maybe you should just stop online shopping for awhile.  I am just glad QVC is there to shop from.  If it takes a couple weeks to receive an item, it is no big deal.  If it is something you need immedately, just go to one of the understocked department mall stores and settle for something that may be suitable for your imediate need.

Worldwide shipping issues are not likely to improve anytime soon.  I suggest you do your Christmas shopping immediately.

I think the shipping really depends on what you buy and what brands are involved.I guess I've been fortunate not to experience the delays of others. I'm also aware of when items are being sold as Advance Orders.

@13SHOPS : QVC does not have to stop selling- WE have to stop buying!

That's what I am doing. The slow shipping is annoying. I do not have that problem with any other online retailers. The items are in my home before things ordered on the Q have even shipped.

Maybe as the end of the month approaches there will be a greater urgency to get things shipped  out and collect the $ for them. That has been my experience in past months.
