Respectful & Constructive Criticism re: Host Kerstin

Please read this post as my title states - I am writing will all due respect & as constructive crticism - not to be taken personally.

I get up early most mornings so I have seen Kerstin quite a lot lately. I'm sure the hosts can go back and watch tapes of their shows as part of their training. During some of the recent days and today, Fashion Day, Kerstin needs professional help. I hope the training staff at the Q and whoever is Kerstin's host mentor will sit down and watch the tapes of at least the past two weeks and help her work on her presentations.

Kerstin has a great personality, but she just does not have the knowledge she needs about fashion and jewelry, in particular. Her appearance (fashion choices), her presentation and references to inaccurate style points, far too much chatty talk (i.e. being a "West Coast girl") and wasting time with all of that rather than allowing the vendor to point the details and the important information about the item.

This morning, Kerstin totally ran over Linda during the Liz Claiborne show and ignored the models - who looked great and were styled showing options for wearing each garment.

There are so many specific examples I could point out about recent shows, but I don't want to go on and on with more specific examples because that might appear as if this post was written in a disrecpectful way - I simply want someone at the Q to help her. I know it takes a significant amount of time for the newer hosts to find their best way of presentation, but Kerstin has been at the Q for quite some time and she help from the training staff.

I hope this will be taken in the spirit of constructive criticism for the profession - not personally.
