I recently watched a presentation on Diamonique earrings. I waited and waited for some close up shots of the product. A few seconds and then back to the host talking. Not helpful. With jewelry, I want to see close ups. No offense to the sales people and host, but I can hear you talk at the same time I view the product. I am not interested in watching the host talk for seven minutes. My suggestion also applies to fashion where I want to see the fabric up close, details on seams, buttons, features of the garment, and colors. Close camera shots on the models help a great deal. Again, watching a long shot of the host talking in front of the garment telling me places I can wear the garment is not helping me make a decision. I am intelligent enough to figure out places to wear a garment.

It can be very frustrating when you are waiting for information or a close up shot and it never comes.
During the SG clothing presentations I wait and wait for the sizing of models that look like they may wear my size. Most times I never hear them, only what size Susan, Jennifer or Pat are wearing.
Sometimes the models are wearing the clothing a bit smaller, or larger than I like. I wait patiently for that information and get frustrated when it never comes. Sometimes I think I may have missed it and run the show back and it's not there. 😆
It happened last week and I ended up guessing and ordered the pants too small. 😞

I agree............i also find with any jewelry shows...NONE
of the hosts hardly ever show either the gallery of the ring as it stands upright OR the backs of earrings....

most of the newest earrings are so minuscule . I was looking at various brands of fake to their " vault " collection and all the earrings are less that 1 inch in length .
Saw some cute styles but are made for a child or those with really short hair styles

In the old days they used a ruler so you knew how large the item was. No surprises. Now the presentations are about the host and vendor, not the item.

I agree. Colors show up so differently, I can't tell you how many times I've ordered something that didn't look like it did on tv. The hosts need to spend more time describing colors. And I agree that some hosts give endless examples of where we can wear something, as if, we would never have thought of it ourselves. It is totally unnecessary.

I agree. it seems like very often the camera is not paying attention to what the host is saying... Of course it takes a time to get there, as the host can talk faster than the camera operator can respond. However, when it comes to small items, it's pretty obvious to zoom in on it.

Coudn't have said it better!
(And they must be missing sales because of this very situation.)

I can't believe the information they leave out!
I stopped watching any fashion shows because they wouldn't tell me what I wanted to know.
One very important consideration (for me, anyway) is fabric content percentages. I don't want to hear that it's a cotton poly blend .... or there's "some" lycra in that cotton shirt. I want to know the exact fabric percentages.
Not too much to ask, is it?

Rosina used a ruler on the " Vault " show but could not hold it up or read out the measurement accurately. I don't understand why the " Vault " gem expert they tout abt does not give full cwt or details when he is talking abt the pieces he has brought to air.....
