Rosina  used a ruler on the " Vault " show  but could not  hold it up or read out the measurement accurately. I don't understand why the " Vault " gem expert they tout abt  does not give  full cwt  or details when he is talking abt the pieces he has brought to air.....

Oh gosh......Rosina.....I can't watch her. Not to sound....but I don't find her professional at all. Back in the day Rick, Mary Beth, Kathy....all of the hosts had a ruler and showed the size of the piece. Erin Mosley tried to be thorough, but the hosts seem to hijack her presentation by yakking about themselves.

I notice this all the time. Long shots of the host and vendor. We need to see close ups of the jewelry, and the gallery on rings and earrings. Even online. They need to bring back the ruler. Another thing, please have a model with earrings on so we can see the actual size, not from across the room. The clasp on necklaces are hardly mentioned.

There is a fairly new host that I have heard her ask the camera tech to take a tight shot of a pair of sandals that had intricate detailed flowers on them that she was showing and have seen the same host on other shows when describing details on clothing as well, that small request does help and is appreciated, IMO.

What a concept.  Especially for a SHOPPING Channel.  Oh, wait, QVC is now an ENTERTAINMENT Channel.

I'm starting to believe they don't show these details because they don't want the customer to see them. Maybe no close ups of the jewelry because the stones are cloudy, or small, etc. I notice in shows with plaids they won't show close-ups of the seams because the plaids don't match. With the exception of D&Co. They match their plaids on the seams and Gary makes sure to pointit out and show us.
