I'm so tired of the hosts saying throw this on with a little sneaker, throw this over a tank, throw it in the washer.  Throw throw throw.  Drop the phrase, it's tiresome and sounds dumb. And while they're at it drop the "grab this" phrase.  I rarely throw nor grab things.

I don't even watch that much and it's a constant refrain.

Re: Quit with the "throw it on"

@MoJoV Did you watch during the days of Lisa R throwing B. Makowsky purses when they sold out?  Some people got so upset and took it personally that she was "tossing" the bag to one of the stage hands.  LOL.

Just as bad is prefacing so many items with the word 'little'. Dresses, jackets, sandals, etc are not Little! Lisa Robertson was a good one for saying that, but the current hosts say it all the time.

I was about to mention the same, using little this little that and I agree with your post.  You could put a little jacket over that dress, you could put a little tank top under the whatever, and on and on. Your comments are so true. I don't wear little jackets, little tops or little anything.

I know these complaints pop up every so often on the posts.  I do most of my shopping on line so I can avoid the tiresome repetitive words and phrases, whatever works.

OH....and THE WORST.....has to be "PULL-ON" pants.    I mean, are they insinuating we have to use muscle power to get our pants on????   NOT ME...I "slip into" MY pants...or "slide them up"...

The suggestion that my butt may be a tiny bit wide is insulting...

Good grief. No matter what a host says, someone will complain. People need to relax. It's not worth the angst.

Amy says she climbs into her clothes.  She tells us to "climb into" a new item.  That is a strange one to me.  Do you need a ladder to climb into your clothes?  Well, QVC does sell ladders.  It seems like Dan Hughes is always selling them.
