@Krimpette   I agree with you totally!   Seriously if someone is that unhappy, then go shop somewhere else. I do not buy clothing because I am very small and I have to try things on.   BUT I have bought some beautiful things from QVC that I could not get elsewhere, and they are a good quality.   If I was that unhappy I would shop elswhere not sit on these boards bashing QVC.  Your right that it is weird that it is a new person.

I want to add that why sit and post bad reviews here?  What does that solve?  There are a few thousand on these boards, but think about it, QVC has millions of viewers.

Yes, quality has gone down.  I barely order anything from QVC.  Plus, on almost everything, you can find exact same items cheaper and with cheaper or free shipping elsewhere.  Dooney ships for free from almost all other vendors!  Since I don't use easy pay on handbags, I don't buy them here for just that reason.

I think it is good to read the negative posts, especially about the products. It gives one an insight as to the quality of an item. As far as negative posting about show hosts, I see nothing wrong with them. The shopping channels head honchos should read ALL the comments to see how we view the people they have chosen to sell the products to us.

Re: Quality down Selling jargon up

Just because someone is new to the forums does not mean that they are new to QVC.  I started reading here after I retired.   I have been a QVC customer for years.   I did and do write reviews on the items I purchase good and not so good.  While working I used my computer for basic needs at home.  I used it all day at work and had no desire to turn it on.   I now read more than I respond.  These forums are full of many personalities and based on their comments some do not match the "title" assigned by the Q.  I do not know anyone on here personally so I would not judge them.   Some sites here and elsewhere on the computer are like being in junior high again.   I do enjoy the constructive conversations.  I get very helpful information and there is much to learn.  Even negative posts can be constructive.  Like the programs on TV I can move on without participating anytime.

David was usually pretty reliable but the quality of products you give him to sell is junk but he continues to do his job.

Hooray for David.  I wonder how many of the other older hosts know this but continue to do their job.  How can the customer win who wants the quality back at QVC?

Re: Quality down Selling jargon up

When people write "negative" reviews, the designers, manufacturers, and quality control personnel at QVC should take notice. This means that in order to remain a front runner in sales and serviceuniformity and quality in all their products  must be monitored. There is no reason why two articles of clothing ordered in the same size but in different colors be words apart in fit and fabric.

Yes, quality is down everywhere, so is style selection. QVC used to offer a wide variety of clothing, lately it all looks the same. Extra long tops with bottoms that look ridiculous, and way too much spandex and not enough natural fabrics. It also seems that the more classic designers are shown much less often than the more trendy ones.

Don't get me wrong, I love QVC, but want to continue to feel that way and shop. Most clothing purchases however, these days,  go back and that is costly. So, hopefully, these comments are read and points made are taken into consideration. We all want to make purchases...this could be a "win-win" situation, no?

Sounds like you were right ALICE2U ......have you seen QVC's 2nd quarter results (posted on Q Talk) and Stock Reports (in Community Chat)   And GOLDENGATE sounds like a LOT of QVC customers ARE shopping somewhere else....

QVC CEO mentioned sales declines which started in June and continue...and revenue is down from the first quarter too...

Why are these highly negative posts typically from a brand-new poster?  Hmmm.  Makes one wonder.  (At least it does, me.)

@Krimpette

I don't think you've been reading the Forums much...similar feedback and comments are in various categories of the Forums.....
