I was watching a one hour segment on HSN for Prai moisturizing products. I love them and they work very well.  So they have the customers call in to talk about what they purchased and why they love Prai.  It is Customer Thank You month over there, and didn't you know it they let the call in lady know that her purchase was FREE! Not just once did they do this but again! I had to leave before the hour was over so don't know if they gave away free purchases again.  Now That is Customer Appreciation! QVC get on the band wagon and show your customers you care about them. In the last month alone I have placed 8 orders with HSN.  I have recieved free samples in my delivery boxes, really good sale prices, and free/reduced shipping on just about all my orders.  To bad I dont order by phone, I would have gotten my purchase for FREE!  QVC you can do the same thing. Get to it.

@Rockycoast  BRAVO to you.   When will QVC realize that this is not 1986 anymore.  There is A LOT of competition.  I guess it will take increasing customer abandonment and deflating sales.  Maybe THEN they will WAKE UP.  This once wonderful station has turned so generic with LESS quality value and borderline convenience.  Unfortunate that management has taken QVC in the wrong direction, IMO.

I also like that HSN gives you the choice of which easy pay you want if any, plus you don't have to use your HSN card only if you want an addtional easy pay.

I agree that HSN knows about customer appreciation.  They have better sale prices.  Their hosts for the most part are much better than QVC's.  At least they don't seem to have the annoying speaking habits that they do on QVC.  For instance, I don't  hear "Ummmmm" after every other word.  Overall, they present themselves in a more professional manner.  I've been with QVC since 1991.  Back then  QVC was the better channel.  Times have changed though lol.

Pay down means to reduce the balance of a particular debt, like paying down your car loan.  I don't get coupons either and I think it is because I don't have the HSN card.

I know you can get good and bad CS reps at any company, but I just got off the phone with a very snotty snippy QVC rep. I understand not liking your job, but if you're in the service industry, at least pretend.

My neighbor suggested that I look at HSN during Mine Finds because I love SW jewelry.  I did and found a turquoise & lapis necklace that I liked.  I thought about it and decided I would give them a try but the price had gone up, alot.  I took the time to call and their CS said that price was only good while Jay was on for those couple of days.  I never went back.

That is true with any event. Put a heart on the item and they will alert you when the price drops and you'll probably get it for an even better price. I heart all the items I'm interested in and then buy on clearance. Sometimes I win, sometimes not. Nothing is worth that much to me.

With QVC, you are no more than your Q number.  They only want to sell, they only care about the bottom line.  Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be in their equation.
