QVC should carry air conditioners for slider windows. Just a suggestion.

[ Edited ]

QVC should carry air conditioners for slider windows. I was looking at Q's ACs today and noticed that they don't carry the window units used with sliding windows. I saw that Loews, Home Depot, Amazon and some websites that only sell AC's do. There are potential customers that might buy here so I'm making this suggestion. Maybe someone will pass it along to Q buyers.

I was not looking to buy an air conditioner for myself and I do not need one.

I looked at them at my local Home Depot. I would need one for my sliding windows. Problem is the weight of them. I wouldn't be able to install/remove it by myself b/c they are so heavy. I ended up buying a 14,000 BTU portable unit. It's large and on wheels so I can roll it in and out. It's the biggest BTU portable unit you can buy. Anything larger is not portable but are window units.

That's a good thought.  Wouldn't help anyone in my development though as window A/C units are verboten.

@Mindy D

The cord is 6-ft long. I can buy a heavy-duty extension cord if needed.

Portable AC units with 2 hoses on the back side are more efficient at cooling, especially for large areas and places with high ceilings. I have one with 2 hoses and it's impressive. When people come into my house, they ask me about it.

@ValuSkr     Same here, and we can't have evaporative units, either.   di

No one in our area has a swamp box either. We can but just choose not to for obvious reasons. I do see some people with small portable ac's but they put them in their garage. We have a lot of people who either spend a lot of time in they're garage just sitting or some actually work in there quite a bit. Since our garages don't have windows they have to put one in.
