QVC pricing almost double in many cases!

I have been shopping on QVC for years now... at least 10. Lately I have noticed that many times the same exact item is available from a store or from Amazon for a lot less. Recently I looked for a Panasonic 3D blu-ray player... the price on QVC is $359.96 but on Amazon it is $197.86. I realize that this will happen but this is the 4th time I have wanted to make a QVC purchase only to change my mind because of price.

I have written customer service before and suggested they have 'price-matching' or at least offer a % off if you find a much lower price. If you agree please respond. This is really getting to be too much and is making me skeptical to make a purchase without extension research which can often result in the item be sold out. Yikes!
