I think it might be time to start "hammering" here in "Suggestions".  I don't care as much about the merchandise as I do the culture and the people.

QVC in any country, does its research, and before they present-they have a pretty good idea of what constitutes their market, the interest in the product etc.....but it would be wonderful to hear-from other countries- New products, customs etc.

Tomorrow, I am going to visit Japan...I am just moving my cursor to a line of script and clicking.

So far, from what I can see, QVC does not offer anywhere near the choices or items we get here....but there are cultural factors involved as well.

Re: QVC International Suggestion

I have no problem naming vendors on other shopping channels as there are many HSN vendors who appear on QVC's international channels including Marla Wynne. She is also a vendor in Canada on The Shopping Channel. I also see past QVC vendors on QVC european channels like Nina Leonard. A Shopping Channel Canadian vendor Kim & Co also sells on QVC in Europe.

Re: QVC International Suggestion

Well, tonight I am popping over to Japan in my "first class" accommodations, complete with a queen sized bed, luxury bedding and en

suite bathroom-eat your heart out Emirates!

I can't read a word-but I will explore....I can't wait for the Cherry Blossom Festival and to see what QVC offers.

Does anybody know about the next holidays that might be observed there?

Re: QVC International Suggestion

I watch QVC UK frequently on my ipad. They have 4 or 5 online channels including one for just fashion. I watched a bunch of EMU Australia shoe presentations and learned from the vendor to size up in them. That was my experience in a bricks and mortar store buying the Beach Lo winter boots last year but it was nice that my feelings were validated as I thought this brand ran narrow and short.

Re: QVC International Suggestion

I love the idea of an International Day. Bring in a host from various QVCs around the world and some of the products they show and tell about their country. I'd love to see this with Japan

Re: QVC International Suggestion

The was a QVC France, sort of, on-air the other day.  One of the hosts from France came to the West Chester QVC studios, and she stopped by a couple of the host's shows.  I know I saw her with Jill Bauer earlier this week, and there was another show but I cannot remember it.  She was very pleasant and funny.
