I can't be the only one who turns off QVC when Shawn appears strapless most of the time even when we know it is the dead of winter there.  What does she have against dressing professionally?.  Even in the host pictures she is the only one strapless.  That may be appropriate for the formal jewelry shows, but realy ALL the time?  It is like she puts on the least amount of clothes she can get away with.  Just tired of it.  I hear a reference now and then to a corporate dress code, but it sure doesn't look like it is enforced.

Most of the hosts look lovely and appropriate.  Never see Mary Beth, Jill, etc look anything but beutiful and appropriately dressed.  Enough that we have lingerie on huge HD screens, we don't need underdressed hosts as well.

I agree with plaid pants2. Shawn gets her share of bashing. What is inappropriate to a few people may be trendy and fashionable to many others.. I believe perhaps her dress is to fit her "kicky lively persona" The normal corporate dress code doesn't fit entirely per QVC as many times they wear fashions that are sold at the Q....not always though. I think she looks awesome most of the time. Pretty lady who can pull off most anything.. Differing opinions make the world go round I guess. Live and Let Live is my current motto. Is easy peasy just to just turn the channel too. Tastes vary greatly among each other and that is just fine eh?

Re: Professional dress on air

Maybe the reason that we don't see MBR or Jill in those type of dresses is because that's not their style???!!! I usually don't reply on these threads, but goodness it seems Shawn does nothing right.  I guess the reason I'm replying now is because I feel like I did when I was in school and someone was being picked on and I always felt I should take up for them. I just don't understand why it would bother someone so much. I feel like if the PTB at QVC thought she looked inappropriate then they would let her know. I honestly can't believe that it seems every day I visit these forums there is a thread bashing Shawn.

@Stormygirl*******How would you feel about bank tellers, sales people, doctors, grocery clerks, and others in perhaps coming to work in high heels and a bathing suit if that's what "floats their boat"?

@Desertdi***Actually, most dress codes are enacted because people won't dress professionally.

Re: Professional dress on air

OK - so I saw Heather Hall doing a jewelry show a few weeks back on Evine. I really had to take a double take on her - I actually thought her boobs were going to fall out of her dress it was soo low!  She usually always looks nice and put together and professional - so I have no idea what she was thinking. My husband commented how low her dress was and of course I just gave him a look! Too funny - you really could not help but stare at her cleavage! Totally something you would see at a cocktail party or In a bar, not on a sales network. at one point, she was on with Chuck Clemency at the time,  I do believe the man could not keep his eyes of her chest for a moment or two!! I really don' t think anyone could help look at her chest with all that cleavage going on!!
