Prices have gone up because the price of cotton has increased and we still have the tariff on Chinese made clothing. With all the trials manufacturers, transporters and retailers have had the past year, its a miracle they're not higher than they are.
Have you ever known them to go down?

Yes, because they had a LOWER price for the TSV!

Not free, just what they item is worth without the huge increase for them just to make money.

My advice is to shop around. You don't have to shop at QVC. Look around, compare shipping charges, return policies, and exchange possibilities. Sometimes QVC wins, sometimes not, but you have freedom of choice.

Why complain?
Do what I do. Shop elsewhere. No how, no way, will I pay high prices plus postage for polyester plastic clothing.
Have you read the reports on what polyester fabric and clothing is doing to our environment and oceans? And really...think about it. How much throw away clothing do we really need?

Ordered the Susan Graver velvet pants for $62 - I think that was the sale price. Of course they were touted as the best . After receiving them , the velveteen felt nice but not quite as thick as I had expected and the very cheap thin piece of string as a tie at the waist , ended uo being a disappointment . I'll probably look around for another thicker cord to replace the cheap one with the pants .

By percentage, I think QVC's prices have risen considerably compared to other retailers where I shopped.
Those retailers are concerned about getting the sale, so they use competitive pricing thinking it's better to make some money on an item than none at all. Also, knowing they can make more money selling volume at lower prices than less at higher prices. QVC holds out keeping merchandise for years in its inventory rather than marking it down significantly to get rid of it.
Yes, when other retailers mark something clearance, the price keeps coming down until it's sold out.
QVC's blurb about setting their pricing by other retailers' pricing, then says, that doesn't mean other retailers sold anything at that price. That's a rather tricky statement.
QVC introduces new products at $5.00 off trying to make us think we are getting a bargain. The markup on clothing is anywhere from 100% to 300%. $5.00 is peanuts to me. Then, it goes up to QVC's retail price; which they say is less than retail price, again trying to make buyers think they are still getting a bargain. See above paragraph.
Then, not to mention, QVC raises prices of some of its items on free shipping day, so there really isn't a free shipping day for those who purchase items with increased prices.
QVC is playing pricing games with buyers hoping they won't notice.

There are very few items, if any, on QVC that cannot be purchased elsewhere at a lower price. And their high prices are not because of the virus. Other retailers have better pricing and shipping. QVC used to be one of my "go to" places to shop--not anymore.

Just buy less.

We are still in January and the latest sales hook seems to
be - "ONLY ORDER FOR THE YEAR" add endless processing, shipping disasters (mail innovations), return fees and frumpy IMO, polyester and garish prints
clothing I'm out. Most on line sites offer free shipping with minimum purchase amount, Q doesn't even offer us that bone
