I liked it when they gave us a CHOICE of delivery years ago... I would pay more to have a choice... the cheap free methods take a month for delivery IF you ever get it delivered....

I ordered from another company and the UPS/USPS handoff failed. It is not working. Abandon ship! We can pay for UPS or FedEx to deliver themselves.
I know the powers that be do not read this. It is not an issue exclusive to QVC. It is a problem for any company using this level of service. We have no way of knowing it will be used until the tracking system indicates it. Most of my orders are still being delivered directly by the initial carrier.

I signed up with UPS My Choice Premium to stop USPS shipment for packages over 2 lbs - UPS Surepost. Now it's a campaign to give members Mail Innovations direct delivery or QVC stop using both methods.
The problem is USPS' third party shipping partner, Newgistics.
I'd pay more, too, but think about all the high shipping complaints we see on here already.

I have no complaints about QVC's shipping. Every item I purchased for as long as I can remember arrived when I expected it to show up - and many of the items I ordered came with S&H included.

Agreed! I also remember when there was a time that we could choose our delivery service. Now UPS drops the packages off at the post office, and that could take days, and more days to arrive. It's not like we get free shipping either. We pay for that lousy shipping!

AMEN...passing off to USPS just means your pkg entered the black hole, maybe not to be seen again.

I placed an order with QVC. Tracked package and tracking said it was delivered. This was UPS. Got on chat. TOld them about it. UPS never stated where they left the package and I have no idea where it is. THis is the second time it's happened. This time I took a refund because, if UPS can't seem to get the delivery here, there's no point in reordering. QVC doesn't seem to be concerned about the fact that UPS can't keep their deliveries straight. They just offer a refund or a no charge replacement. That doesn't solve the problem with UPS does it? Why won't QVC pursue these issues with UPS? I can't order from QVC anymore (and I have been an avid QVC shopper from day one). I won't sit here, wait for an order to be delivered just to find out no one seems to know what happened to my order. Most importantly they really don't care. They offer a refund or replacement; but don't bother to find a solution for the initial problem. I guess QVC doesn't really care about their customers. They sure haven't shown me any effort to solve this problem.

Q will never stop using the handoff shipping because it's the cheapest way period.

I just had 2 packages "lost", even the post office was not able to find them. Tracking doesn't do a thing. If it stops tracking, it goes into nowhere land. Now I have to wait for the Q to send replacements. I didn't really have a hard time getting packages before Christmas, after Christmas they can't seem to get it straight. Two packages lost in a week?
