@nzwyck  One of the only things still working on me is my ears.  I never watch PMS or anything else on Monday nights, especially the LOGO shows.  But I turned QVC on during commercial break from ID and I truly could not make out one word this host was saying.  The closed-captioning couldn't even keep up with her.  This host really needs some speech classes.  Can't watch any show she hosts even though she always looks very nice and wears clothes beautifully.

I'M NOT ALONE!!!  What do you think of this of this observation of mine,,,remember the fad of those talking like "Valley Girls"?  Well I hated that and so many on TV did that.  It lasted a long time.  Now I think the fad is 'fast mumble and slur your words all into one word and speak softly" syndrome!  It is sooo annoying.  At first I thought it was just my age and not coping well with hearing.  NOOOOO  It IS a thing and bless you for voicing your opinion as I voice mine   S L O W L Y    AND L O U D ENOUGH TO H E A R.

I've so often wondered this. WHY are the presenters chosen to represent their product and their voice is so irritating, high pitched, hard to listen to, don't they hear that??  It's not only the Q  it's on news networks, weather, etc.  Thought it was just me.  Honestly, my senses are 'sensative'! and I've wondered if I'm the only one that this bothers.  I'm so glad to hear from others,,,,sorry but we're all in this together!  Thanks ladies

The faster speech pattern is a regional thing.  I admit that I talk fast compared to people who live in other areas of the country. It's just the way we speak around here...in Pennsylvania, of course.

I don't notice the Hosts speaking too fast at all....except for the breeziies daughter...now she does talk fast...maybe she  is nervous.
